Two limited edition prints on hand-made flax paper by the renowned Maori artist, Puti Hauraki who died in 2016. Large prints, 42cm x 30cm, in original protective wrapping (some light reflections off the plastic are seen in the photos). One is titled, Whai atu i to tino hari koa (Follow your pathway and dreams to happiness) Second print is titled, Awhi mai Awhi atu (From within from without. A person who has the ability to show all forms of caring and sharing in all areas of one's life).
Puti Hauraki originally had a gallery in Christchurch that was destroyed in the 2011 earthquake and she subsequently created a new studio in Tauranga. Her work is renowned and appears in a number of museums - and even a piece in President Barak Obama's home. These prints rarely come on the market.
