An original painting by NZ artist Louanna Lyn, (previously Lyn Simpson).
Painted on stretched cotton canvas using high quality acrylics and signed.
Artist Statement - "I was driving from Hokitika to Reefton to exhibit at Hale Gallery, when I saw the mountain that inspired this painting. I just had to stop and take lots of photos. It was a very grey day and yet the sun was pouring through the clouds very powerfully, on just one small area of the mountain. The magical lighting was creating unusual and beautiful effects; strong colours and contrasts with lots of mist adding to the atmosphere."
