A quite neat and very retro looking, signed Hudson (C or S ??) which I am calling A Narrow Road Near Bluff - original painting oil or acrylic, as per photos. (except that camera flash can change colours & shades etc and make things look brighter & better than they really are) I think it looks quite neat & shows older time New Zealand. Have listed under acrylic, but the painting of the rocks etc is quite textured, so could possibly be an oil ?? The picture itself has quite a number of small little paint spots etc, (perhaps from splatter) and odd little marks etc but for most people it would be quite livable - so to me, its basically fine for what it is. You will need to get your own eye hooks & string fro hanging. The frame is light and wooden, has some wear & usage marks, paint chips, scrapes, bangs, marks, dings, dents, stains, and whatever else you want to think of, but again, reasonably quite ok for its age etc etc . The light frame is wooden, and measures approx 405mm x 280mm odd. What you can actually see of the picture itself is approx 365mm odd x 240mm odd. Measurements are given, so compare those measurements with something you already have to give you a good idea of size. There are a number of photos, hopefully enough, to try & give a good indication of state and condition etc, and to help you decide its value to you & its suitability to your use or purpose, whatever that may be. So PLEASE, use those photos to help you see & gauge its faults, condition and other things you may want to know. And if not sure, ask a question !!!! We allow pickups, but if you do not want to pickup, then we can send for you, on your behalf, at your risk. Couriers & PO etc do not cover art, antiques, collectables & heaps of other things so is sent entirely at your risk.
