A Large Kener Wilson ? Cottage on A Hill original NZ painting as per photos. (except that camera flash can change colours & shades etc & make things look brighter & better than they really are) It has Benson & Hedges Art Awards 1974 & what we take to be Kener Wilson on the back. (which may or may not be correct, as its real hard to read) Know nothing about this, its artist, history etc, except what's obvious & from the back. Hopefully someone may know the artist. It's not glassed & is on hardboard. I think its in reasonable condition for its age, has marks spots & scrapes etc but I think it looks good. Good if you are wanting a large painting for a large area. The frame has some wear & usage marks, paint chips, scrapes, bangs, marks, dings, dents, stains, some corner joints have opened a bit, & whatever else you want to think of, but again, reasonably ok for its age etc Repaint / reframe. The frame is wooden, measures approx 1280mm x 850mm odd x 45mm odd. What you can actually see of the painting itself is approx 1170mm odd x 695mm odd, so its big. Compare those measurements with something you already have to give you a good idea of size. There are a number of photos - 20 - hopefully enough, to try & give a good indication of state & condition etc, & to help you decide its value to you & its suitability to your use or purpose, whatever that may be. If not sure - ask a question. I would prefer this to be a pickup, because of size & difficulty to pack safely. (on boder line size for posting) So much much prefer pickup. We allow pickups, but if you don't want to pickup, then we can send for you, on your behalf, at your risk.(PO & Couriers do not cover original art, antiques, collectables & heaps of other things, and neither do we, so is sent entirely at your risk.
