A rather neat, and quite well done original oil ? painting that is signed Rosalie Bettie, & what I have called The Waterfall, as per photos. (except that camera flash can change colours & shades etc and make things look brighter & better than they really are) I think it looks quite neat. It is, to me, very well done. It is very textured. Done on board. The painting looks good, odd little marks or spots etc but I think its fine. Looks like it has varnish or some Needs a clean. Frame has odd usage marks, scrapes, bangs, spots, paint flecks, paint etc & anything else you want to think of etc, but again, reasonably quite good and livable for its age etc. It is not glassed. I think it is an oil on board - could be wrong, could possibly be an acrylic - but do not think so - so if being either is real important to you - just give the auction a miss. I think it is just quite neat. The frame measures approx 735mm odd x 395mm oddish. Inside the frame is approx 690mm odd x 350mm odd. What you can actually see of the artwork is approx 600mm odd x 270mm odd. So its a good size, not too large and not small either. Measurements are given, so compare those measurements with something you already have to give you a good idea of size. There are a number of photos, hopefully enough, to try & give a good indication of state and condition etc, and to help you decide its value to you & its suitability to your use or purpose, whatever that may be. So PLEASE, use those photos to help you see & gauge its faults, condition and other things you may want to know. And if not sure, ask a question !!!! We allow pickups, but if you do not want to pickup, then we can send for you, on your behalf, at your risk. Couriers & PO etc do not cover art, antiques, collectables & heaps of other things so is sent entirely at your risk.
