Contemporary Pacifica motifs and patterns paint in acrylic on to hardboard with two generous coats of clear gloss to prolong the life of the painting. This painting was inspired by a village who had lost everything due to a volcano eruption on the island of Savaii in Samoa. The displaced people found refuge on the other island of Upolu where they are flourishing today.
