Expansion on an 8 piece picture with some mixed media includied.Part of the idea stemmed from walking around a pond in a park i saw a shopping trolley half poking out of the water head first (South Auckland of course!). It was a perfectly still day and the suns mirror reflection coming off this perfectly still water with this discarded shopping trolley facing nose down into the pond with the suns clouds reflecting on the water made the trolley look as it was diving head first into a set of clouds. It was real magic where you either see it or choose not to and discard it as silly because you grew up. I took a photo( as shown in one of the photos). Some think its an eyesore seeing a shopping trolley in a public pond poking out the water but It was one of the best art pieces I've ever seen( the artist that placed it there clearly needs to be commissioned on more fine works like this, for all the public, not just myself, to enjoy}. Unfortunately next time i went to the same park, it had been stolen,(most likely by vandals!} . This piece is an expansion on banksys trolleys and using a really old New World shopping trolley handle (bleeding) as its title from the 1980s. Also used heaped lacquer to make a distant mountain range .Measuring approx 700mm x 300mm. Slatem><metalS
