Description
Pamela W. Woodlock (1946-2015) was a member of the Canty Soc of Artists and Coca (Centre of Contemporary Art). NZ Portrait Gallery Competition finalist and Award of Merit recipient.
Her work was exhibited but rarely made available to the public. This painting is from her private collection.
Painted on Hardboard, measuring 32.5cm by 37cm and titled 'Ballet Dancer'. The dancer in question being the great Rudolf Nureyev.
On the back Pamela has stated this was amongst her "1st attempts oil painting large scale. Lead up to large work".
Note: Tape measure set at 1 foot long.
