'THE LACE TABLECLOTH' BY SUSAN LAWRENCE

The dark blue background of this painting really makes the lemons and pears stand out. They are sitting in an hand thrown pot that I bought years ago and have always liked . I had put the fruit into it and thought that it would make a good painting and went on from there. The lace tablecloth sort of evolved, and I am very pleased with the outcome.  The sides are painted too.  I use only exhibition standard canvas and paints.  The painting is stretched, varnished and strung so is ready to hang.  I am experienced in packing and freighting both nationally and internationally.  Have a look at my other art and bargains on Trademe.
