A quite good original painting that is quite neat and is signed Peter - of an ' Old Asian Gentleman ' as per photos. (camera flashes can lighten up or change its looks, so if exact colours & shades are important to you do not bid or buy) This is an original artwork - I think the art work is quite well done. It is signed. Looks to be on canvas over a wooden frame. I think that it is an oil, as it has some texture in places, but could be wrong, so if being either an oil or an acrylic is important to you, please just give the auction a miss. Not an expert, but I think the artwork looks very good. Has minor little marks, spots, scrapes, wear etc etc, quite a bit of crazing etc, but all fiting with age & look. So to me, basically fine or good enough for an old retro semi distresses item. It is not glassed. Seems solid enough to just hang there but you will have to put a hanger or screws and wire or such etc on it. There are many photos to give a good indication of condition, so have a look at all the photos to help you make up your own mind regards its condition, use or interest to you. It measures approx 365mm odd x 280mm odd. A good collectable piece for the right person or place. We allow pickups, but if you can not pickup or do not want to, we can send for you on your behalf, at your risk, as NZ Post does not cover original artworks.
