I took this photo when I was living in the Sultanate of Oman in 2001. There were a number of old abandoned houses there made of stone, as this one was. However, the door ajar in this case was what got my attention. The light streaming in from up the stairs is really inspirational to me. "There is always light around the corner!" Door of Hope.
