Why? Well for this age if the core is warm they are warm. Looks like a matted sheep but my goodness it is warm. Ideal for this age as they are forever putting their arms/hands in water etc and you don't have to wash the jersey everyday.

Designed to be very long but you will get 2 winters out of it. So it's long the first winter and then normal jersey length the next.

I have two of these if your interested in a second one. The other one is a tan colour.
