The Safer Sleeper is designed to prevent baby sleeping and/or rolling onto its front (the highest risk position for Infant Death Syndrome).

Importantly it allows baby to be rotated from lying on its back (considered to be the safest sleep position) to either the right or left side to help prevent Positional Head Flattening.
