This Resource, which will be emailed to you as a .pdf file, contains 26 A4 (Portrait Page) HANDWRITING CARDS.

NB - There is no Cursive font available in NZ or Internationally that exactly replicates the individual letter linking, outlined in the NZ MOE Handbook ~ 'Teaching Handwriting'. Page 13.

The font used in these Handwriting Cards, is the closest available and reflects the linking shown in the student samples in the same Handbook.

The pack includes

• 26 - A to Z Handwriting Cards. Each individual Alphabet Page has
  • lower case letters,
  • uppercase letters,
  • high frequency words,
  • NZ Place Names
  • a sentence using the particular focus letter with a Kiwiana theme.

Each letter/word line has a half size dotted line so students have a guide line for the half size letters.

If you would rather have the Pages smaller to paste into workbooks, when you go to print, click on Properties and in the Multiple Page option, set the Pages for 2 to one.

Great as Independent or Group Activity Cards. (If you are going to laminate the cards as an independent activity, one idea is to put a plastic sleeve (the ones with the holes down the sides so you can put them in a ring binder for storage if needed ) over your laminated sheet and tape it at the top. Any marker rubs off easily! And they are cheap to replace.)
