This auction is for a digital collection (in the form of a PDF file) that focuses on lower case letter formation, letter ID, letter/sound knowledge and lower case letter handwriting practise.

Each worksheet has a number of activities that that are centered on learning and practicing one focus, lower case letter.

There are 27 worksheets in total… one for each letter of the alphabet, other than ‘y’ which has 2 options: y formed like a ‘u’ with a tail y formed like a v with an extended right side

The worksheets have a simplistic, clean look to them and are all similar in layout (which really helps little learners to complete them with more independence).

I am an experienced teacher, with a preference for teaching New Entrants/year 1… personally, I would use these sheets to support students’ differentiated learning needs by giving individual kids the letter that their currently learning/or forming incorrectly.

However these worksheets are appropriate for practise in class, as a taskboard activity, a follow up to the letter of the week, a homework sheet or for parents who are wanting to give their preschoolers (4 years & up) or new-to-school kids a great start to learning how to write.
