This mask of Rob Muldoon was constructed from heavy cardboard and papier mache, then painted. As it was used on stage for many performances, the condition is basically sound, but with some dents and rips (which only add to the character). 'Piggy' measures 80cm high, 70cm wide & 70cm deep. I offered him to Te Papa for free but it 'does not our collections policy,' so he's looking for a new home.
