This is an amazing book for early MG enthusiasts, restorers, potential buyers!

Published in 1953 (3rd edition), it covers every model of MG up to the MG TD. This includes all the pre-WW2 cars such as the M-type MIdget, KN, TA, 2.6 litre models, Series Y, VA, etc. The level of detail on each model is amazing. For instance, the chassis section has 36 pages, there are 82 pages on engines, brakes get 21 pages and electric equipment has 158 pages!

It's a medium-sized hard cover with 526 pages including wiring diagrams plus two large fold-outs of lubrication charts (one of these has become separated from the binding but is not damaged in any way.

There's no dustwrapper (it may not have had one?) and the cover boards have minor wear and fading. But for a 64 year old book it really is in very good condition. It's certainly not been used in any oily garages!
