The story of why a man in Canadian Army uniform landed on "Green Beach" on the 19th August 1942, when he was neither a Canadian or a solider. This was in fact part of the rehearsals for the D Day Landings 2 years later.
Private Jack Nissenthall volunteered for this Operation, which turned out to be one of the most important of the war.
Hard cover in good condition.
