This book is a true and historical account of some of the events in my life as a soldier with the legendary Second New Zealand Division. It is about the time I spent in Europe figthing on the Sourhtern Front in Italy during the Second Great War of the twentieth century. I am writing it sixty years after the war from memory from a diary and from recollections of those times with other old soldiers. This book is in honour of all the brave and heroic young New Zealanders who fought for freedom and who are the 'Glorious Dead
