The Avap is a transferable water trough valve and arm protector designed for all farms with concrete water troughs. Our product is a lighter and cheaper alternative to a concrete protector, yet more stable as it is secured in the trough by an attaching mechanism (the component) It can also go under fence lines and does not take away from the area of trough that the cows can drink from. The Avap cannot be shifted by thirsty cattle as it is strong enough to withstand immense weight and pressure.

A component is required to attach the Avap body to the trough. They are available in 2 sizes:- 20mm and 25mm. Multiple components are a good idea for easy shifting of the Avap. For example, you could put components in your most troublesome troughs and then use 1 Avap which you move trough to trough whenever the cows are in those paddocks. The back plate of the Avap slides over the component, which is then tightened against the trough.
