Description
Relished as last auction winner did not go through with the deal.
I had this saw serviced in April this year. New chain, 600mm bar and spark plug.
It ran like a treat, and I chopped up a fair bit of fire wood with it.
Sadly it is now not starting.
I think it's only good for parts. I say that because, it has no chain brake and the clutch doesn't really work anymore. Also the two bolts that hold the muffler on are missing. New bolts can be purchased from Husqvarna .
Saw is a 1985 model. I think it us 49 or 50cc.
Pick up Northern Kapiti, or I could be talked into bringing it into central Wellington as I work in the CBD.
I shouldn’t have to say this , because we all know how Trade Me works, but here goes; please don’t bid on this auction if you don’t intend to go through with the purchase.

Hi, any chance of a few more photos, showing the front, and the other side ? mikepaul46 (1019 • 8:26 am, Thu, 18 Dec )I’ll see what I can do. Christmas pressures and all. It’s currently packaged up because it was ready to send to the guy who didn’t go ahead with the last sale artist26 (157 • Thursday, 18 December 2025 )Hi guys, I see the two leading bidders at the moment are not local. Just a heads up, it’s pretty heavy and the best price I could get for shipping it to the last buyer was $25 to Taupo. That might be why he stopped answering my emails. Seller comment Thursday, 18 December 2025 Ok thanks, Im in levin so I would be picking up, regarding the muffler, hard to make out on the photo, is it still in place ? so the main 2 bolts are missing completely and all that's holding it in is the bracket that mounts to the crankcase ?is that correct, thanks mikepaul46 (1019 • 11:47 am, Thu, 18 Dec )Yes, that’s right. The bracket is stopping the muffler from falling off, but it is rattling around loose. artist26 (157 • Thursday, 18 December 2025 )Hi, is that a label just below the oil filler cap? If so, what's written on it? Cheers caduceus (305 • 7:04 am, Sat, 20 Dec )Yes it is a label. It’s not readable artist26 (157 • Saturday, 20 December 2025 )Ok, thanks 👍 caduceus (305 • 8:08 am, Sat, 20 Dec )
