The ever-increasing supply of large diameter logs not suitable for producing materials for industry (sawmills) has led Pezzolato to create a plant that allows you to obtain high quality firewood by processing logs with diameters up to 600 mm .

The plant consists of:

CUTTING GROUP (TM 600)

The fully hydraulic machine has a feeding system consisting of 3 motorized rollers with 600 mm center distance and 1400 mm long toothed chain, a chain saw and a 1600 mm long chain for introducing material onto the splitting station.

The maximum log diameter is 600 mm and the maximum cutting length is 500 mm

It is driven by an electric motor with a power of 18.5 kW.

A fixed pitch feed gauging system set electronically by the operator.

SPLIT GROUP (TB 600).

It is an automatic vertical splitting system for processing logs of any kind with diameters up to 600 mm and lengths up to 500 mm (for the production of firelighters, diameters of less than 300 mm are accepted, depending on the length, which can reach a minimum of 50mm).

Machine for large diameter logs with settable step feed (minimum splitting size of 20 x 20 mm), is driven by an 18.5 kW electric motor and the thrust force of the log splitter can be 30 tons.
