This scale is the digital version of the classic vernier slide. It can be mounted to the compound slide or carriage of your lathe (or milling machine, table saw fence etc) so you have an accurate digital readout of distance between two points when machining or turning. Or use for any other purpose where exact linear measurement capabilities are required.

The LCD display has two magnets on the back for easy mounting on any ferrous surface, or use the included screw on clip bracket for other surfaces. If the scale is too long it can be cut to length without disturbing the operation of the unit.

If you need XY axis then simply add another unit or for and XYZ DRO axis put 3 units together. And because the displays are separate they can be mounted in the most convenient place for the work you're doing.
