Approach Angle 95º Turning Facing SCLCR/L toolholders use the two 80º corners of CC__ inserts mounted at 95º to the axis of the lathe. Their shape allows straight turning to a shoulder, as well as facing cuts either to a shoulder or to the centre of a bar. This is the most versatile tool holder, and will cover most lathe jobs

This 10mm square shank toolholder unlike some others on the market takes standard ISO inserts which are avail from all carbide manufacturers. Whilst it could be tempting to buy a set of tools when tooling up a lathe you will find that there are styles of holders in these sets you will rarely use. Far better to buy better quality tools like this one, which along with a boring bar will cover 90% of your turning work.

This tool takes ISO inserts CCMT060204/08 where the 04 or 08 is the corner radius in mm. Can supply additional 04 radius inserts @ $5.00 each

Can also supply high positive rake inserts for aluminium ISO - CCGT060204 @5.00 each (see insert in photo)
