This thing is still a beast of a machine! Has a proper keystroke keyboard unlike later version of MacBook Pro which suffered from keyboard failures.

Very well looked after. I'm a very detailed person so going to outline things that not many people will bother write about or even notice.

Cosmetic defects I can see is some small dents on the rear base of the panel pictured. The small indent next to Apple logo can be seen under direct light. Not so noticeable in shades.

The rubber strip around the screen peeled off ~5cm section when I was cleaning the screen (Top of camera where my thumb contacts when lifting the cover). This rubber rim is $10 replaceable item from Aliexpress.

It really is remarkably clean laptop for this age (Look how clean keyboard and trackpad is. There is no embedded greasy marks on any keys).

The screen on MacBook Pro 2012-2013 that came with LG Display has a thing called burn-in effect. The LCD panel remembers previous state if left at a fixed screen for a long time. So you can see in one of the photo where there is a glimpse of lettering ’Search’ visible on the background. This goes away after 10 minutes or so and frankly, once I got used to this, didn't bother me that much. Search google for what this means. There is a tiny speck of dead-pixel-like dot when I was doing a dead pixel checker (Next to my thumb). I didn't really notice this until I was preparing this to upload for sale. Once again, not something every seller might disclose. Other than this, the Retina display has an excellent resolution.
