Every few months the Printer Companies MAY UPDATE the firmware of the printer. The cartridges we sell you SHOULD HAVE THE SAME FIRMWARE IN THE CHIPS. If not the Inks you buy will not work and you may get messages like "Cartridge Not Recognised" or "No Cartridge". Many Traders continue selling their inks with Earlier Version Firmware and hence they do not work. No one will know when a firmware is updated.

BY DEFAULT your printer would have been set up to receive all UPDATES and if connected Wireless or Wired via Phone lines they will automatically be updated. There are MANY ways of Disabling (Blocking) these PRINTER UPDATES (NEVER BLOCK WINDOWS UPDATES). Google and find out.

THE SIMPLEST & MOST RELIABLE WAY IS TO FIND THE IP ADDRESS OF YOUR PRINTER FIRST. OPEN A BROWSER AND TYPE THE IP ADDRESS and it will give you all information about your printer. FIND UPDATES & DISABLE UPDATES.
