This machine offers a lot more than its 3D printing feature and can be called a 3D multi-purpose personal fabrication device. The FABtotum Personal Fabricator is capable of 3D printing, milling along 4 axis and also 3D scanning.
With an Open Source hardware and software it is possible to upgrade the FABtotum Personal Fabricator at will. It very affordable price for such a flexible 3D printer, 3D scanner and milling machine. Print size 210x230x240 I brought this when they first came out thinking I could learn new technology.I joined a 3d class when I was working in Auckland and did some basic prints and since I have been back in Sth Island it has been in a box on the self in my shed.Its a little beyond my capabilities so needs to go to someone that would like to use it.The video is available for your viewing pleasure at https://vimeo.com/104623340
