Ornamental cabbages (also known as flowering cabbage) are in the same species as edible cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower (Brassica oleracea) and make an attractive addition to a sugar flower arrangement.

These large, beautiful plants have frilly leaves which are usually dark pink or purple in the centre of the plant, becoming greener towards the outer edges.
