A macro slider rail allows the photographer to place their camera on a tripod and make small and minute adjustment in distances (which is a lot with macro photography!) without having to physically move the tripod or camera itself.

Unlike conventional photography, any slight changes in distances while taking macro shots will result in huge differences in the end photo. While one can manually move the tripod and camera or change the level of zoom on the lens, it is very hard to make controlled movements due to the lack of a means to measure it.

This single axis 2 way macro slider has a smooth rack and pinion setup that allows an extremely fine and precise movement to take place for a clear and crisp macro shot.

The large knob dial on the side allows for easy adjustment while the smaller dial ensures that once the right distance is dialed it, it can be locked in place so that no further movement can be made.

Standard 1/4" tripod mounting hole on the base of the rail allows the user to mount the unit onto almost any tripod for a steady and still shot.

Camera may be mounted onto the rail via two allocated mounting position, either via the fixed mounting screw in the front or the one on the slotted hole at the back which will again allow the user to make further fine adjustment.

Two of these units may be purchased and combined together which will allow for a double axis 4 way movement to occur. Complex movements thus can then be achieved to give the user maximum flexibility in a range of motion.
