Remote Cord for Nikon D70S D80 MC-DC1 N2
A compact remote switch with a 3 ft. cable replicating all the functions of the camera's shutter release button. This includes auto focussing , auto exposure, etc. further pressure takes the photograph. The button can be locked forward for Bulb exposures.
Handy for taking pictures of subjects that are difficult to approach, or to minimize vibration for close-ups and time exposure.
As can be seen in the picture of the remote, there is a 2.5mm phono socket on the side. This enables a phono cord of any length to be plugged in and used to even more remotely release the camera's shutter.
It adds greater convenience and ease of use in a wide variety of shooting situations, including long exposures and close-ups.
