I bought this camera about 5 years ago to use for an 1 year photography course I did. It has not been used since and has been packed away in the back of the closet. I have always used it carefully, kept it in a bag, and it shows no sign of damage or scratches. The screens have an anti scratch film on them. The lens has always had a uv filter to protect the glass from scratches.
