The Aerpro CBA4S1 4.5dBi 477MHz 670mm Black Stainless Steel UHF Antenna Whip is compatible with Aerpro Elevated Feed UHF Antennas and other major brands of antennas and mounting bases with 5/16" thread. With 4.5dBi gain, this medium gain antenna is a great all round performing antenna. The elliptical radiation pattern is more rounded compared to a high gain antenna and radiates further compared to a low gain antenna, making it ideal for medium range communication in various environments such as suburban landscapes, towns and low density woodlands. The 670mm antenna whip features a flexible black coated stainless steel single coil mast which is fitted with a 5/16" thread for easy removal. This antenna whip is ground dependent, so it is recommended to be mounted on an elevated feed base or ground plane for maximum performance. The CBA4S1 is a good all-purpose town and country antenna whip.
