To use, plug standard composite AV cables (yellow, red, and white) into the converter input ports, and connect an HDMI cable from the converter to your television.
The converter works with either 720p or 1080p TVs, with the output mode selectable via a switch on the converter. The converter’s advanced processing integrated circuit allows you to get the clearest picture quality possible with optimal colour and detail reproduction. Both video and audio are integrated into the HDMI output.
This converter upscales the composite AV video signal from a Sony PlayStation 2 to 1080p over HDMI. While it improves compatibility with modern HDMI displays, the visual quality is still limited by the original 480i/480p PS2 output.
