These are brand new 64mb memory cards that we have opened and programmed with Free MCBoot v1.966 for New Zealand consoles
We guarantee these work on New Zealand, Australian and UK consoles.
Please note if you have a modchipped system with a modbo chip or something similar please let us know as we will provide you with a dfferent version that will work with your system.

What is FreeMCBoot? -FreeMCBoot is a type of modchip. It is on a memory card so you just plug it in and go. It allows you to use and install Homebrew.
Can I still use the memory card to store save games etc? -Yes you can as long as you do not completely fill up the memory card. Keep at least 1mb free
Will this allow me to play original NTSC games on my PS2? -No, not without ripping them to your computer and patching them and then re-burning them to a disc
Does FreeMCBoot work with all PS2's? -No it doesn't. See the following link to check if you model is compatible. http://www.modchips.co.nz/content/20-ps2-revisions
Can run games off USB hard drives? -Yes you can but as the PS2 is USB 1.1 it is very slow and can cause lag in games. If you have a fat style PS2 you can purchase a hard drive adapter that installs into the expansion bay. You can install and play games off this harddrive.
