Sony PlayStation 2 Console – Faulty / Repair or Parts

Up for auction is an original Sony PlayStation 2 (fat model) console with 2 controllers.

The console powers on successfully but does not read discs, so it is being sold as faulty for repair, restoration, spare parts, or display.

Included is everything shown in the photos:

Sony PlayStation 2 console (PAL) 2 x Genuine Sony DualShock 2 controllers (tested and working) Power cable AV cable GTA: San Andreas disc (inside the console)

Condition: Console powers on but will not read game discs. The console has a few areas of damage including the AV socket. The cord still plugs in fine but it sits there loosely. It appears the console has been opened previously. I haven't opened it myself. There is visible internal dust around the fan vents etc GTA: San Andreas is currently inside the disc drive. The disc appears scratched and has not been tested, so I cannot guarantee it works. Both genuine Sony controllers have been tested and are in good working order.
