You are looking at Play Station 2 game G1 Jockey

G1 Jockey is a detailed horse racing simulation on PS2 from a long-running Japanese series, putting you in the saddle as a professional jockey rather than simply managing horses from a distance. For fans of genuine racing simulation, this is a deep and demanding take on the sport rarely matched by Western horse racing games.

You'll ride real and fictional horses across authentic race formats, managing pacing, positioning, and whip timing to guide your mount to victory - a genuinely different feel from typical arcade horse racing games, with real weight given to jockey skill and race strategy. A career mode lets you build a jockey's reputation across seasons of competition, developing relationships with trainers and owners along the way.

The series has a dedicated cult following among racing simulation fans specifically because of its unusually deep, jockey-focused perspective. Best suited to genuine horse racing enthusiasts looking for something with real strategic depth rather than casual arcade fun.

The series draws on Japan's real G1 racing calendar, letting dedicated fans compete in fictionalised versions of the country's most prestigious races with genuine attention to pacing strategy and stamina management unique to jockey-focused racing games. It's a demanding but rewarding series for players who want their horse racing games to feel like genuine athletic competition rather than simple button-timing exercises. A genuinely rewarding find for horse racing fans who want real strategic depth from the saddle.

Comes complete. Cover has some wear at the top as shown; manual and disc are excellent!
