You are looking at Play Station 2 game Panzer Elite Action: Fields of Glory.

Panzer Elite Action: Fields of Glory is one of the most accessible and entertaining WWII tank combat games ever released on PS2, offering an action-focused take on armoured warfare that strikes a satisfying balance between arcade fun and tactical depth. For fans of military history and vehicular combat, this is a rare and rewarding find.

Choose to command German or American tank platoons across three historically significant campaigns - the Tunisian Campaign of 1943, the Italian Campaign of 1943-44, and the decisive Battle of Normandy in 1944. Across 18 missions spanning these theatres of war, you'll lead your platoon through open battlefield engagements against enemy armour, infantry, and aircraft, making tactical decisions about crew positioning, tank formation, and target priority on the fly. The battlefield feels genuinely alive - artillery barrages, infantry movements, and air support all play roles in the chaos unfolding around you, making each mission feel like a true combined arms engagement rather than a simple tank duel.

A crew management system adds satisfying RPG depth between missions - roster your tank crews based on their individual skills, develop their abilities through combat experience, replace fallen or wounded crew members, and earn historical medals for outstanding battlefield performance. Better tanks become available as campaigns progress, with iconic vehicles including the Tiger I for German players unlocking as you advance. The ability to switch between different battle stations inside your tank adds welcome tactical variety to combat.

A rare and enjoyable PS2 tank game that delivers more depth than its budget origins might suggest - a genuine hidden gem for WWII armour enthusiasts and collectors alike.
