The Nintendo WUP-028 Adapter bridges the gap between classic and modern gaming. Originally launched alongside Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and then again for Smash Ultimate on Switch, this black, compact, rectangular adapter allows up to four players to plug in original GameCube or WaveBird wireless controllers simultaneously. It is an excellent accessory for competitive tournament play and retro enthusiasts who prefer the ergonomic layout of the GameCube Controller. The Wii U and Switch variants are functionally identical, except for the branding on the top.
