Description
PS3 capable of running PS2 games natively thanks to it's Emotion Engine chip (the same processor used on the PS2) This unit comes from Japan, but runs fine in NZ due to all PS3s having universal power supplies This console has Evilnat CFW 4.92 (jailbroken) and has a 1TB HDD installed, allowing for nearly 1000 PS2 games (from your own discs, I do not condone piracy) This console does not come with any games installed, but it does come with Gran Turismo 4 on disc. Also included is a cheap third party controller, to be honest it isn't great but it works
It runs very hot and loud, as it has not yet been delidded, it has been cleaned out and the thermal paste has been replaced however I think because of these thermal issues it can sometimes freeze, but restarting the console fixes this
These early PS3s are known for the YLOD issue. Throughout my testing I have not encountered this problem, but if it occurs after sale I cannot take responsibility as it is an inevitability unless you get the 90nm RSX replaced.
The high price is because I am not quite ready to sell it
