PRODUCT DETAILS:

Neodymium magnets are about 10 times stronger than traditional magnets.

This pack contains 120 tiny, really powerful (for their size), neodymium magnets, also known as "rare earth" magnets.

Size: 3mm diameter, 1mm thick.

Plated nickel/copper/nickel for durability.

Strength Rating: N52, the strongest grade made. I have bought CHEAP N52 neodymium magnets from China which were definitely weaker than stated, so I have selected a supplier who is honest about the grade and quality of these neodymium magnets.

Pull: One neodymium magnet to another, or to 0.38mm steel, they release at about 130 grams. Between two sheets of steel, 420 grams! One magnet holds one (actually 2 - just) A4 sheet on a whiteboard. But for easier-to-handle magnets on whiteboards, I recommend my D6x6mm in pairs, or similar.

POTENTIAL USES

• Latches & closures (Wooden boxes, doors, etc)
• Frictionless spring (either tension or compression)
• Triggering reed switches and other actuators
• Warhammer etc. Attaching parts of models or for movement trays.
