These blinds are made of Foamwood Imitation Timber Golden Oak

Golden Oak is a very modern looking timber colour and is similar in colour to Cedar although the grain is slightly different. Many people have installed Golden Oak blinds as an alternative to Cedar or other timbers

It is possible to reduce the blinds in width if you have the right tools, something like a drop saw, We have had many customers who have done it themselves with great results. If you are planning to shorten them yourself please keep in mind that it is only possible to reduce the width by approx 120mm-150mm, but as much as required in the drop

The drop can be reduced easily by removing the bottom rail and then taking out as many slats as required to make it the correct length, this requires only basic tools to do this
