These were my Mums that my sister bought back from the U.S in the 90s . My Mum has kept them in the cupbord all these years because she thought they were too nice to use !! The container is i believe a deli keeper ? The rounded end container is called an econo-saver is ingenious.!! I have used ot a few times to store a ready cooked chicken from the supermarket . The base can be flipped to use when you have a whole chicken ( or other roast such as small leg of lamb )

So , when youv'e eaten your way through the chicken (its still easy to acess )and in this ingenious way you can take the container straight from the fridge to the table .... great if you making your own sandwiches at the table , for lunch . This is useful too , for an outside dining as the cover will keep the flies off but still allows easy acess ..
