This kit has been designed to be an inline gravity feed - activated-carbon-filter system for your neutral spirit.

The feed is from the bottom to the top outlet, which is much better than filters from the top down, instead of gravity feed a 6 to 25-watt magnetic drive pump can be used, (depending on the size of the filter) you can reduce the flow rate to a trickle, putting pressure from restrictive flow will not hurt a magnetically driven pump, it is precisely what they are used for.

The kit includes:

• 1 x 1-inch tri-clamp valve (to regulate flow)
• 1 x 1-inch tri-clamp and silicon seal
• 1 x 2-inch to 1-inch concentric reducer
• 1 x 2-inch tri-clamp and 150 mesh screen (Teflon)
• 1 x 2-inch x 300mm spool
• 2 x 2-inch pipe hangers
• 1 x 2-inch tri-clamp and 150 mesh screen (Teflon)
• 1 x 2-inch Tri-clamp endcap with 10mm barb–inlet
• 500grams spirit filtration food grade activated carbon, this will fill the 300mm spool more than twice

For commercial producers, spools of larger diameter can be used, with a 65W magnetic drive pump. The carbon can be re-activated by back flushing with >130ºC steam.
