Solar power system for automatic gate openers. Solar power is a great alternative to mains power when mains power is not easily accessible. Ideal for farmlands. During the daytime with the sun light solar panel produces electric current. This electric current then uses to charge the batteries through a controller. Power supply to gate opener is also regulated through the controller. If the battery voltage down to 10V or so, system completely cut-off power feed to the gate opener. Maximum Current is 10Amp.

Solar panel frame is made of anodized aluminium. Top side has 3.5mm tempered glass. Two batteries are connected in series. Two wires out of solar panel connect to solar controller (make sure to check polarity). Two wires out of battery box also connect to solar controller (check polarity).

These solar power systems are generally maintenance free. However, periodic inspection and check-up to keep the whole system healthy. Batteries need replacing once their lifetime is reached. We also carry Mounting Post. These posts are made of aluminium and powder coated black. This has facility to mount the solar panel at the top, battery box and gate opener control box (if any) at the side of the post.
