


Description
Epimedium grandiflorum Lilafee has delicate lilac and white flowers with long white spurs. Common names include Bishops Hat and Longspur.
Soon after the flowers emerge, beneath them unfurl the delicately divided leaves. Each leaflet is heart-shaped and blushed with red - setting off the tone of the flowers. This foliage matures to lime green, remaining weather resistant and fully evergreen through winter. Best in shade to part shade. Suitable for: light (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clay) soils. growing to 0.4 m (1ft 4in) by 0.3 m (1ft) at a medium rate. Frost hardy.
Plants have a group of about 3 stems about 5-10 cm long. Stems are narrow and wiry. They are small plants. Plants are potted in 9 cm pots.
