Strawberry Monterey giant sized, Berries are large. Heavy cropping. Each strawberry plant is capable of producing 450g (1lb) of tasty fruit each year. Plant now to get them well established for next season as well as enjoying the rest of the seasons crop.

Ever-bearing’ Monterey is very popular with organic growers as it has a high resistance to most strawberry disease. It is also better suited to hot climates as it performs better under hot conditions. It is more vigorous than Albion and needs a bit more space. Monterey is from the latest breeding in 'ever-bearing' varieties, It begins cropping in October and continues in flushes until the end of late summer.

Listing is for a small plant about 2-5 cm tall and potted in a 9 cm pot. They ae currently small for winter. Photographs show fruit and sample potted plant. Not all are in flower.
