Sandersonia or Golden Lily of the Valley. It is also called Chinese lantern flower. The bright gold bells are on stems up to 60 cm tall and are excellent cut flowers. They are popular with florists. They flower in mid-summer. They like sunny, warm sites in summer and are frost tolerant in winter. They must be grown in well-drained sites. They are well suited to pots and containers.
