Why do different manufacturers have different SQM area compared to the force (1200N)? This is because it is based on a number of unknown variables dependent on the garage door, in theory all garage door openers with the same force capability acting on the exact same door set up should be able to do the same SQM area, rather than inflating our SQM rate for the perfect situation we put a realistic area in.
