This auction is for the lawful entitlement to the personalised plates MAORI. i.e. the legal right to have these plates made or remade and put on your vehicle and driven on NZ roads. (or just held as an investment)

A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO BUY A UNIQUE PLATE.

Provenance - The first person to own these plates was New Zealand multi-millionaire businessman / property developer David Blackmore. He bought these plates when personalised plates were first released in 1987. They were then acquired by Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom circa 2010. I bought these plates from him in early 2011

The asking price for the plates reflects its uniqueness, its history and its relevance to this country & its people

Some images are Photoshopped - cars not included. The video is from Campbell Live, when Don Brash noticed my plate when he returned to Orewa 11 years after his infamous speech. People do tend to notice the plate. The plate has had an interesting life already, it's been a bit of a learning curve for me.. But I'm ready to pass it on to the next person
