VRV 175 Compressor Fridge

These fridges were designed specifically to run on solar energy in remote places based in the tropics. Its extra-thick insulation, large heat exchange, and efficient compressor, makes this unit super-efficient.

We have been selling versions of this model since 2012, we offer a 2 year back to base warranty.

Our Solar Fridges offer many advantages over 3-way gas fridges:

2. There are no naked flames which represent potential fire risk, especially at gas stations.
3. They present no potential risk of CO2 fumes or Natural Gas/LPG leaks which 3-way fridges might do.
4. Are easy to fit and there is NO need for a Gas or Electrical Certification.
5. Are easy to maintain, with virtually no servicing requirements.
6. Are easy to start, just push the “ON” button.
7. The thick insulation means less power is consumed and the cold air is contained in the fridge where it belongs.

Specs: - A powerful 75-watt compressor motor - Lightweight at only 56kgs - The internal thermostat ensures efficient running by only operating the compressor when needed. - Very thick insulation at 65mm. - The fridge is 595mm wide by 575mm deep and 1270mm high. - 12 or 24 volt unit with auto-select function. - Motion Lock.

The VRV175 comprises of a 120 Litre fridge and a 39-liter freezer unit. The separate fridge and freezer doors mean minimal cooling is lost each time you open the door.
